Miss Bachelorette Community Foundation will provide a platform where beneficiaries learn skills such as Computer Literacy, Fine Art, Bead works, Wood works and Cultural Dances
Instead of focusing solely on providing food for those in need, we empower them with skills and resources so they can support themselves over a long term. These breadwinners have been provided with resources and capital so they can establish their own small businesses.
We may not be able to save the world, but a meal every now and then provides hope and some energy to move on to the next day. We occasionally serve communities that are never sure of their next meal.
We have partially adopted Diepsloot Seconday as our School project of choice. With long term plans of building a permanent structure for the school, we have thus far made sure to improve on the feeding scheme of the school by providing additional cooking equipment.
